I got LASH EXTENSIONS! Sorry for the all caps, but this mom is  super excited about them! I don’t have to wear mascara or curl them, so I’m waking up feeling  instantly more put together. 

What do you think? Have you ever tried them? I have always been worried about getting them because I’m not always great at maintenance with these type of things. Heck, I only find the time to get my nails done like twice a year. BUT fortunately for me, my new neighbor works at a Lash salon and is amazing!

The whole process is painless and WOW it makes such a big difference. I don’t have the best natural lashes. One is actually more curly than the other and it drives me nuts. The first visit takes longer and is more expensive, but then after that, you get fills every couple of weeks and it’s half the price. To me this is a part of my self care beauty routine that is worth it. 

As a mom, life is so busy that sometimes you forget a little self care goes a long way. I also got my eye brows waxed and tinted and am so thrilled about the whole look. It’s making me feel more confidence and is shaving a few minutes off my morning routine. Even the kids said “wow, mommy pretty.” 

Have you ever gotten lash extensions? I’m never going without now but I totally understand the hesitation.
